Alma (Soul), Collaborative performance, 2019, Detroit, US

Through a collaboration with local musicians, I created a venue to honor the music of the group The Dramatics, whose founding member, Cleveland Larry Reed, suffered police siege and violence in 1967 (during the Detroit rebellions) at The Algiers Motel. We held a concert in the same place of the events, many years later, appealing not to forget. We fused Soul with Bolero and improvised for an hour.
