The human body is able to store its experiences. The body physical memory is more durable than the person’s physiological one. I even dare to say that body memory is the most sincere of all because it is not conditioned to social regulations, behaviours, any social structure or element to be followed as a normal and social behaviour. The body has no consciousness to face such regulating mechanisms. It has been proved scientifically that human body ¨speaks¨ by itself, even when life on this body ends, that is after death; to accomplish this it necessary to know how to decode the evident signs, scars, codes as well as to read them.

The body quite different from the human mind can not disappear or forget every hints experienced on itself, on the contrary the scars due to very old injures works as memory in the present. Taking into consideration some of these criteria, I based part of my arguments and used my own body as a testimonial reservoir of all these bodies that suffered physical violence, in this way my body represents a receptor matter that stored personal living experience of other women. This stored denouncing process that I represent by using a photography device in which I deeply involved myself to show the testimonies of dead women and this is related to the aspects that dead persons denounce through a ¨living¨ body, in this case “mine” in such a way that through my own body, these women give an explanation about the events.

The montage of these victim images and my body in these photos gave me an idea of the Photography as a place where two things mix together: Life and Death. I consider the Photography a site that I coexist with these bodies, so that sometimes my body is less evident from the victims, who come forward to life.
