The action reflects on the cultural interaction that unfolds today on Reunion island. The power relations that are established from one culture to another, the interpretation of internal / external between them as well as including an appropriation that one cultural group makes of the other .
The quotation of popular proverbs from Creole language is a reaffirmation of the concept of the work. The physical characteristic of the mirror which takes an image and reflects it back / or interprets but never the real image also supports reflection on intercultural relations on the island based on a general appreciation that I am doing with the participation of people in La Reunion. The imitation of Europe in a totally different environment. The economical dependence and the racial conflicts are some of the issues that runs me into this performance.
