La idea fundamental que me llevó a realizar esta performance es cómo llevo mi herencia familiar. Utilizo el bote como símbolo de mis ancestros africanos y chinos que en contra de su voluntad fueron movidos a Cuba en barcos. Me veo como un resultado de este desplazamiento y es por ello que tiro del bote en esta obra.
The main point of this performance is how I carry my heritage. I am using the boat as symbol of my Chinese and Africans ancestors who were moved to Cuba by force on ships. I see myself as a result of this movement therefore I carry the boat as metaphor.
